After visiting two other parks in the area, we were both surprised and glad to get a site at Lake Rousseau. Everyone is very friendly and everything is neat and clean. It is a really great park with lots to do both at the park and in the area. The fishing is among the best in Florida and the park residents and staff are willing to share information on where to fish and what to use. There is some activity most every day or night such as Bingo, cards, one stroke painting, with weekly activities from dances to dinners and the celebration of most holidays. We stayed about 2-1/2 months last season and will stay 4 months this season. Can't give a better recommendation than that!

Didn't stay any longer than it took to find another park. Too close to the interstate, noise all night. No shade. Nice dog run. Staff seems more interested in selling lots than renting. Lots of short term groups in motor homes coming and going frequently. Very few scheduled activities while we were there. Repeat season campers told us the park had changed hands and the service had gone way down. They were extremely disappointed and most of them left before we did.

New manager and owner. The place needs a LOT of work. Very run down. The staff is nice and helpful. They are constantly working on the place. Nice location but too small of a park for my needs. They had a lot of permanent residences that did not contribute favorable to the image of the park. Didn't have any activities scheduled while we were there. Pool was closed for work as was the recreation room. The washers and dryers were a joke. I must say the owner and staff are trying to improve it but it has a long ways to go. I gave them a "3" because of the effort otherwise it would have been a "1".
